Create a MediBang Paint brush from a PNG tip

Load the supplied PNG as a bitmap brush, apply its type and parameter notes, and compare the result with the package’s tested setup. The steps below describe desktop MediBang Paint.

Keep the PNG tip and its brush settings together

Find the supplied PNG tip and the notes describing its brush type and parameters. Save them together. If an outer ZIP contains these files, extract that outer ZIP as instructed. Keep the original PNG; a decorative cover or stroke preview is not a substitute for the delivered tip.

A PNG tip supplies the image used by a bitmap brush, not a complete set of brush behavior. Follow the supplied type and parameter notes and the tested app version. Another image or the same tip with different settings may produce a different mark.

Add a bitmap brush from the file

In desktop MediBang Paint, open the Brush window and choose Add Brush (Bitmap) → From File. Select the PNG tip. In Edit Brush, apply the type and parameters supplied with the package, then confirm. Check that you selected the delivered tip rather than its preview.

Check the device and MediBang Paint version listed in the resource notes. On iPad, iPhone, or Android, use the instructions for that device when creating a brush; the desktop menu shown here may differ.

Test the new brush’s type and spacing

Try a line and repeated marks with the new brush on a spare layer. If the package includes a sample from the same PNG, compare at its listed size, opacity, spacing, and rotation where relevant. Keep the original tip and record parameter changes so you can return to the supplied setup.

If the brush is missing or the marks look different

Check that you used bitmap brush creation with the complete PNG, then verify its type, spacing, rotation, and other supplied settings. Confirm the tested device and app version. Record the PNG filename, settings, version, device, and failed step. Sign in to report a Brushory package problem, or contact support if its public page is unavailable.
