Identify the set and its ZIP wrapper
Sketchbook uses SKBRUSHES sets. Some of these sets have a ZIP extension, and the official desktop instructions allow importing them without extracting or renaming them. An outer download archive may still need extraction to reach the set; follow the package notes to tell which file you have. Keep the original set.
On mobile, importing brushes requires Sketchbook’s Premium Bundle. This is a feature of the Sketchbook app, separate from any Brushory membership. Check the tested app version and device before selecting the set.
Use the desktop or mobile Brush Library menu
On desktop Sketchbook Pro, open the Brush Library’s brush-set marking menu and choose Import Brush Set, then select the set. On mobile, first check Premium Bundle access, open the Brush Set menu in the library, choose Import, and select the downloaded brush file.
On desktop, Import Brush Set places the new set after the active set where you opened the marking menu. Dragging the file onto the canvas or double-clicking it adds the set at the end of the Brush Library. Check the appropriate place before importing again, along with any Sketchbook version requirements in the package notes.
Find the set and try one brush
Open the imported set and try one brush on a spare canvas at your intended size. If the set includes a sample, compare a stroke and shaded patch at its size, opacity, and listed settings. Check the device and stylus if pressure changes the result. Keep the original set while adjusting a working brush.
If Import is missing or the set does not load
If Import is missing on mobile, check that your installed version supports brush import and that you have Sketchbook’s Premium Bundle. For mobile files that fail to load, confirm the file type your version requires. On desktop, distinguish a native brush-set ZIP that can be imported intact from an outer download archive. Look in the library before importing again. Record the filename, Sketchbook version, device, and failed step, then sign in to report a Brushory package problem or contact support if its public page is unavailable.
