Import Krita bundles and KPP brush presets

Import a complete resource bundle or a KPP preset with its required tips and textures, then check that the brush appears and its dependencies are available.

Choose a bundle or a preset with its dependencies

A BUNDLE is a resource library that can include a preset’s required files. A KPP is a brush preset and may need separate brush tips or patterns. Keep those files together. If an outer ZIP contains them, extract that outer ZIP as instructed, then select the BUNDLE or KPP itself for import.

Prefer a complete bundle when the package provides one. Importing ABR tips does not recreate the full Photoshop brush settings in Krita. Check the tested Krita version and the list of required tips or textures before comparing a stroke.

Import the bundle or individual resources

For a bundle, open Settings → Manage Resource Libraries, choose Import, select the BUNDLE file, and open it. Check its entry in the library list and make sure it is enabled. Select the native bundle file rather than an outer ZIP.

For a single KPP, use the preset chooser’s import option or Settings → Manage Resources. Import any supplied tips and patterns through their matching resource choosers as well. Check that all files listed in the package notes are present.

Find the preset and test its resources

Find the imported preset in the Brush Presets chooser. If it is missing, check that the bundle is active and clear any tag or search filter that may be hiding it. Try a stroke and a texture patch on a spare canvas. If a sample is included, compare at its listed size and settings. Resolve missing tips or textures first, and keep the original bundle or KPP while experimenting.

If a preset is missing or looks incomplete

Check whether the bundle is disabled and whether the KPP’s required tips and patterns were imported. Verify the complete download, file type, and tested Krita version. Record the preset name, filenames, version, device, and missing resource or failed step. Sign in to report a Brushory package problem; if its public page is unavailable, contact support.

Check the file details before choosing a brush

Before deciding whether to get a resource, check its file details, the app version listed as tested, and the access methods currently enabled. For a file problem, give support the resource name; for an order problem, include the order number. Do not send sign-in codes or other private information.
