Find the ABR file for pixel brushes
Find the ABR file in the download and save it to a location available in your device’s file browser. If it is inside an outer ZIP, extract the ZIP first. Keep the original download and any brush-setting notes; a ZIP or finished illustration is not the ABR you select for import.
Imported ABR files are pixel brushes; they do not become live or vector brushes.
Use Add brushes → Import from files
Open the Brushes panel and choose + Add brushes at the bottom, then Import from files. Select the ABR. To find and use the imported brushes, select Pixel brushes from the panel’s filter.
Use the device and Fresco version listed in the resource’s test notes. If a brush or category is not visible, open the panel’s upper-right menu → Manage brushes and check whether it is hidden. This visibility setting is separate from the ABR import itself.
Check pixel strokes and brush settings
Choose an imported pixel brush and make a short stroke and an overlap on a spare layer. If the package includes a brush sample, compare at the same size, opacity, and listed settings. The decorative cover is not a brush sample. Keep the original ABR before changing the imported settings.
If the ABR is rejected or a brush is missing
Confirm that you selected a complete ABR rather than an outer ZIP or image, then check Pixel brushes and Manage brushes before importing again. Record the filename, Fresco version, device, and the failed step. For a Brushory package, sign in to report the problem from its resource page, or contact support if that page is no longer public.
